Since 2024, we have had the privilege of partnering with and learning alongside Imagine Uraidla as they have continued to build upon their grassroots movement for a thriving community. Having supported and inspired community-led initiatives and action for over 10 years, Imagine Uraidla have recently been exploring opportunities for sharing about the people, stories, and conditions that brought their movement to life.

As a way of celebrating their community and inspiring others to lead their own movements, this work has seen Imagine Uraidla produce a short community film shining a light on the voices, histories and shared identity of the Uraidla district.

This film is a celebration of community coming together through local action to foster belonging and connection in place and features stories told by Uraidla residents, both new and long-standing, that capture the spirit of the district. By offering an insight into the collaboration and collective vision that has supported Uraidla to thrive, the film seeks to inspire other communities to enact their own locally driven initiatives grounded in connection and care.

You can watch the Uraidla community film below and on the Imagine Uraidla website here.
